The Challenge

The clients had already agreed their budget to renovate a bungalow they had recently purchased. As a busy professional couple, they understood they didn’t have the time to ensure the project would be completed on time and to the standard they required. They would also need help with their design and felt they didn’t have the time or experience to find and appoint a reputable builder. Finally, the clients asked if we could help with the contracts and legalities necessary to ensure their project ran on time, on budget and to the standard of work they required.

The Solution

The clients called in to our offices to get a thorough understanding of how and where we can help them. After taking our full range of services steps 1, 2 and 3, we sent our MD to survey the property and talk them through the different ways they could achieve the space, look and feel of the property by changing the layout of the bungalow.
We produced 3D plans, so they could see the full design in fine detail and then submitted planning followed by building regulation drawings for the appropriate approval.
We completed the tender process and then negotiated the quotes with the builders, reducing the cost by a further £10,000 from the “best quotation” received. The clients chose the builder they wanted to appoint, and we drew up the appropriate contracts.
The clients were so pleased with the service they received, they have agreed to video diary/testimonial.
