The Challenge

We were asked by our clients to call to see them as they felt the layout of their property was no longer the best fit for their lifestyle. They now spend more time socialising with their friends, visiting and/or dining in each other’s homes.
They were frustrated that the original layout of their kitchen did not offer the space they needed to entertain and engaged our services to look at the options available.
During the first consultation, the client told us that they wanted to create a large open and spacious feel to the kitchen/dining room. They also wanted a raised patio area they could walk out onto.

The Solution

The clients commented they liked the fact that we could satisfy their needs by producing multiple designs for their project, all in 3D visualisations. During their consultation, we created many alternative designs and made changes to these until our clients were confident we had created their dream design. We also produced a 3D Virtual tour so they could review the design in the finest detail. After a couple of weeks, the clients made some minor final changes and instructed us to process their application in to the Planning Dept. of their Local Authority. We were also instructed to secure Building Regulation approval and begin the process of producing the tender pack to invite selected builders to quote for the work.
As our clients purchased all of our services; Steps 1, 2 and 3 we included a couple of our network builders in the tender invitations. The clients ultimately decided to engage a network builder partly as their price was very competitive and they were impressed with the testimonials we had from previous clients that had engaged them. The clients also took advantage of the trade discounts and contacts available to them. They made savings of several £1000s, just on their new fitted kitchen alone.
The kitchen modifications and dining room extension necessitated extensive steelwork and alterations to the existing foundations that would cause some upheaval to the family. The Works Specification sent to the builder ensured the disruption would be kept to a minimum and this was complied to by the appointed builder.
The clients made additional savings for the purchase of windows and Bi Folding doors via our trade discount contacts.
Their project was finished on time and within budget. The client kindly took the time to contact us to thank us for the great customer service and professional approach they received, from conception to completion.
