Rear Extension, New fitted kitchen and internal modification works

Our client has taken our 3D designs, planning services and once planning permission has been approved they wish to take our building service and our step 2 and 3 services savings and solutions.


The Challenge

Our clients found us on the internet. They told us on day one that they liked the fact we could offer the 3D BIM (Building information modelling) service and could recommend trusted builders so the build would be completed with the minimum of fuss. Their original house had been knocked down and a new house, along with the detached garage, erected some years ago.
The clients asked us to come up with several designs for their consideration. The challenge we were posed is the property is situated in a Green Belt and Conservation area, with a Local Parish to consider. We kept to the creative design remit and conscious we had to comply with all the Green Belt restrictions necessary for the successes of the planning application.

The Solution

This is an ongoing project and we attach various schemes we have produced for our clients. They loved all out schemes and now it is down to actual physical size and volume
During several meetings with our clients, we were able to create an array of designs, all including the practicalities of what the new space for. Their brief was this was an area that they wished to enjoy with their immediate family on a day to day basis. They also wanted to be able to entertain guests in a very informal manner, with a wine bar and gym type area. The clients wanted plenty of glass and natural light as they are not overlooked by any neighbours. They are fortunate that their property is positioned off a small lane, laid back in the middle of their plot of land.
This is an ongoing project; The clients will sign off on their preferred design any time now so we can submit their Planning Application in to the local authority.
Even before then, our Planning team are already working closely the local authority planning department to identify and resolve all the likely challenges before they become an issue likely to delay or prevent planning permission from being granted.
Our clients will be moving on to step two and three of our services as soon as Planning permission is secured.
